Social Media Content

To fully understand the statement advice,
“Just Be You!”
And get the conflicting message,
“To be a success, YOU must follow these steps! I did it, and so can you!”
“Be consistent with your content. It’s what defines your brand, which is you!”
Seriously ๐Ÿ˜’ it is exhausting keeping up, especially if you are starting from step 1.
Doubts, insecurities, Low Self Esteem, and all those negative things come into effect.
One thing I’ve learned so far, don’t copy & do the same tactic with someone’s chapter 25. It definitely will not work for you, no matter how many times you try. Example, Harry Styles & Beyoncรฉ & Lady Gaga, all can post a comma on Twitter & a speck of dust on instagram – and those will get a million hits. While us, non established, on our knees and upside down, hour$ creating content. Yes, we all need to learn & have that experience making it happen from scratch. Like Gary Vaynerchuk says, Be Patient or Quit.
It is true. The waiting game to success feels like eternity. But, we have to love what we’re doing first. If the main reasons are fame & money, then you just need to quit now. Gist of this post? Heck the theme & carefully curated content. We all only live once, and if we pick and choose what we share, just because it’s visually matching, then we rob ourselves and others on what we hold back. Think of the moments that you could have shared.

JUST DO YOU, BE YOU!

* You don’t need to be shirtless, have abs, using apps to clear blemishes, and all that. If your post isn’t flooded with likes, as you expected, don’t worry – don’t delete it, it’ll be discovered & appreciated in the future *

Capturing moments

We live in a world where everything is captured. Whether it is on video or picture. There is no right or wrong with one’s capture or interpretation. We may not see the likes, comments, and accolades of the piece today, but someday – either 20 or 30 years, or even way after when we are gone, it will be analyzed and admired. Enjoy capturing moments & sharing with all social media platforms. What I tell myself & try my hardest to abide, “Take it, Admire it, Share it, & Forget it. Next!” Looking over how many likes or if it hits the trend list.. Pshhh Leave it! The amount of time I waste on checking my like meter, I could have been gazing at nature, reading a physical book, admiring other photographs & watching inspiring films.
Hope this made you smile โ˜บ

Twitter | On Hiatus | Periscope TV

I knew there would be some effect after writing about my Periscope TV experience.

Life to short to even give further explanations.

This isn’t my source of income. It was my source of happiness. Being still not healed from Figure Skating, I have turned to PeriscopeTV. The community is at a time where it is once again divided. I am stepping away & hope in a month or so, it has resolved itself.

Saturday thoughts

I often get tempted to disable Twitter, instagram, and Snapchat. And just keep this, my website blog. I find myself spending way too much time on social media. My life doesn’t depend on them. I’ve given up on trying to be an influencer on these platforms. In essence, it’s not really me. Deep inside, I yearn for long walks around the city taking pictures, reading from a physical book, and being productive in my daily routines. Yes, I do get that itch, to take out my phone & escape through other people’s posts. And before I know it, an hour have passed by. An hour where I could have cleaned and organized, read and learn something new, watched a documentary, and spent time with family and pets. I’m already 38 years old, I don’t want to spend the remainder of my life devoted to social media.
